High Protein Instand Pot Spaghetti

THE PARTS
1.5 pound 97% lean ground beef, or ground turkey
2.5 cups water
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces high-protein spaghetti, such as Banza or similar
15 ounce can tomato sauce
25 ounce jar of your favorite marinara sauce
THE STEPS
Turn on the Instant Pot and set to the sauté function. Add the ground beef and cook, crumbling and stirring with a spoon or spatula as it browns. Once browned, turn the Instant Pot off and drain off any excess grease.
Add the water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
Take small handfuls of the spaghetti noodles, break them in half, and lay them in the pot on top of the browned beef, arranged in different directions (to prevent the spaghetti from sticking together). Do not stir.
Pour the tomato sauce and marinara sauce over the top of the spaghetti in the center of the pot. Do not stir.
Close the Instant Pot lid and move the steam valve to the sealing position. (Depending on the instant pot model, this may not be necessary)
Pressure cook at high pressure for 5 minutes. The Instant Pot will take about 15-20 minutes to come to pressure, and then the cook time will start counting down.
As soon as the cook time ends, do a quick release (carefully move the steam release valve to the venting position or release the steam using the button, depending on your model). Then wait for all of the steam to escape and the pin to drop down.
Remove the lid and stir. You will see some liquid in the pot. This will absorb after just a few minutes. Let the pasta rest for 3-5 minutes and then serve.
Sprinkle with a bit of Parmesan cheese!

Evenly divide into eight servings so the macros are accurate.
